An English Creamware jug with a satirical print relating to the introduction of a new tax on a Hog's Head of 'Beer, Ale, Perry or Syder' A rhyme on drinking away your worries on the rear.

 

Circa 1790

 

Approx - 7 inch (180mm) tall.

 

In very good overall condition, nibbles to base and a restored spout.
